Active Duty Military
The legislature has waived the six month requirement for certain classes of persons:
(1) Active members of the armed forces permanently assigned to active duty in OR (and their spouses and dependent children). This includes, but is not limited to, those who serve as crew members of ships that have an OR port or shore establishment as their home port or permanent station;
(2) Active members of the armed forces who reside outside The Beaver State but paid Oregon resident income taxes no later than 12 months before leaving active duty; and
Disabled Veterans
Resident Permanent Disabled Veterans License
To get a resident permanent disabled veterans license you must be an Oregon resident for at least six months immediately prior to applying for this license and that you have a disability rating of at least 25 percent.
Mail or fax the Veteran’s Application (PDF) to ODFW Headquarters or visit ODFW headquarters
