Hunters The Discriminated Minority

South Pond Water FowlJoin us as we talk with Sean Callahan From South Pond Waterfowl  and Joe Switalski From Joe Swit Outdoors on The Pursuit To The Plate Podcast talking Hunters The Discriminated Minority. We delve into what it means to be Discriminated: to make a distinction in favor of or against a person or thing on the basis of the group, class, or category to which the person or thing belongs rather than according to actual merit

Hunters Bad Rap

As hunters we have always been a discriminated minority from animal advocacy groups such as PETA and the like. Often times we are held responsible as a group for the actions of a few. Covering not only the recent Cecile the Lion incident but other media aspects that have shaped the non hunters views of our actions.

Hunters are not the only Discriminated Minority

Just like Hunters, the Military and other first responder agencies have been given a bad rap over the past couple of years. As this trend continues we see that celebrities become more important then the people on the ground working for the common good of all and often left behind or tossed aside.

Topics Covered

We get on some pretty important topics such as, poaching, hunters rights, that stupid lion, and how we are the minority in this Nation. We get pretty worked up in this one and its a great listen. We may have had a little to much fun recording this one and its always a great time being on the show. I hope you all enjoy this Hunters The Discriminated Minority podcast.

Hi, I am Gregory Beckman, as the main owner of Military Hunting and Fishing let me tell you a little bit more about myself. I am currently an active duty member in the United States Coast Guard. I have been privileged to traveling the world. My experiences have shaped the way that I see the world and my memories will stick with me for a lifetime. Although I may not live in the country, the country lives in me. Traveling the world I have had the chance to experience the wonders of nature in many different places, meeting many different people and tasting wild game that the normal person would not get to experience. Although these experiences have kept me away from home, it has instilled a deep passion of hunting and fishing in my blood. Thank you for joining our site, and I look forward to interacting and sharing stories of our hunting adventures. Gregory A. Beckman
